Our mission at the Utah Military Museum at Historic Fort Douglas is to honor and preserve the rich military history of Utah and Fort Douglas by preserving, interpreting, and promoting the contributions of the State of Utah and honoring the service and sacrifices of its veterans. Through engaging exhibits and educational programs, we strive to share the stories of our military heritage and inspire future generations to appreciate the sacrifices and contributions of our armed forces. We are dedicated to serving as a valuable resource for the community and fostering a deeper understanding of Utah's pivotal role in military history.

The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art has been an award-winning aesthetic force and community leader since it was established in 1931. Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, UMOCA’s rich past has resulted in the creation of a cornerstone for contemporary culture in Utah, providing for artistic experimentation, community enrichment, and connection to the world as it occurs through our related experiences. The Museum strives to be a place where all points of view, experiences, and ages feel welcome to explore the pressing issues of our time through socially relevant art exhibitions and educational programming.

The Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA) at the University of Utah is your destination for global visual arts. From ancient objects to the latest contemporary works, the UMFA galleries showcase the breadth and depth of human history and creativity. The Museum’s collection of more than 22,000 original works of art is the most dynamic in the region. As the fine arts museum for both the state and the University, the UMFA is a vibrant hub for cultural exchange among campus and community audiences.

The Utah Sports Hall of Fame Museum has brought the state’s sports history to life, while preserving and honoring the legacies of heroes and role models of Utah. These athletes and figures from across a broad spectrum of individual and team sports deserve to be showcased and celebrated, and their stories will provide inspiration to all who learn more about their accomplishments. Utah natives and those who have come making Utah their home have created a rich history of achievement and service as athletes, coaches, administrators and contributors. This display not only honors them, but it educates patrons about the spirit of a state that prides itself on work ethic and determination to succeed. Admission to the museum is FREE to all.
