Repertory Dance Theatre (RDT) is the nation’s oldest and most successful repertory dance company. Unlike conventional modern dance organizations, we present you with a diverse range of modern dance styles and choreographers paired together in dynamic and unexpected performances. RDT's Dance Center on Broadway offers evening & weekend dance classes for adults. Classes include Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop, Prime Movement (ages 40+), and more! RDT's Ring Around the Rose offer wiggle-friendly performances for children on the 2nd Saturday of each month September-May.

Two Flame Tango is Argentine Tango for people who like to go deep. Not a party. Not a performance. A practice: close, quiet, and surprisingly good for you. We teach the real thing: the embrace, the conversation between two people, the particular pleasure of learning something that takes time and rewards patience. Our classes are small, our instructors are serious, and the room is always warm. Group classes for beginners and regulars. Private lessons when you want to move faster. Milongas (socials) when you're ready to dance with strangers and mean it. If you've ever left somewhere loud and thought there has to be something better than this... there is. Virginia Tanner created the Tanner Dance Program in 1949, and today the program continues to nurture an appreciation of dance, music, literature, theater and visual arts in a beautiful home, the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts and Education Complex. The program reaches over 40,000 children and adults throughout Utah each year through Children’s Dance Theatre, the Virginia Tanner Creative Dance and Studio Program with classes on the University of Utah campus and in satellite locations throughout Utah, the Arts in Education Program, the Fine Arts Preschool and French Immersion Preschool, and Dancers with Disabilities programs for children and adults.
