A new poll conducted in Utah found that nearly one-third of residents feel that former President Trump's tariffs are preventing them from making big purchases.

The poll, conducted by Dan Jones & Associates, showed that 32% of respondents believe the tariffs are affecting their ability to make significant purchases.

Additionally, 34% said they have personally felt the impact of the tariffs on their finances.

The poll also revealed that 41% of respondents have a negative view of the tariffs, while 26% have a positive view.

Concerns over the tariffs were highest among Democrats and independent voters, with 44% and 37% respectively feeling that the tariffs are impacting their ability to make big purchases.

Overall, the poll indicates that Utah residents are divided on the issue of tariffs, with a significant portion feeling that they are having a negative impact on their finances and purchasing decisions.
