The Utah Sports Hall of Fame Museum has brought the state’s sports history to life, while preserving and honoring the legacies of heroes and role models of Utah. These athletes and figures from across a broad spectrum of individual and team sports deserve to be showcased and celebrated, and their stories will provide inspiration to all who learn more about their accomplishments. Utah natives and those who have come making Utah their home have created a rich history of achievement and service as athletes, coaches, administrators and contributors. This display not only honors them, but it educates patrons about the spirit of a state that prides itself on work ethic and determination to succeed. Admission to the museum is FREE to all.

The Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Arts is located in Liberty Park. It is a fine example of 19th century folk art, built more than 150 years ago in a traditional hall-and-parlor style from adobe bricks. The Chase Home Museum is always free and open to the public during posted hours. It is the only museum in the country dedicated to displaying a state-owned collection of contemporary folk art. It features objects made by Utah artists from the state’s American Indian, rural, occupational and ethnic communities. The Museum offers a snapshot of Utah’s heritage and contemporary culture.

Our mission at the Utah Military Museum at Historic Fort Douglas is to honor and preserve the rich military history of Utah and Fort Douglas by preserving, interpreting, and promoting the contributions of the State of Utah and honoring the service and sacrifices of its veterans. Through engaging exhibits and educational programs, we strive to share the stories of our military heritage and inspire future generations to appreciate the sacrifices and contributions of our armed forces.
